DE PERE - St. Norbert College continued cutting a swath through Midwest Conference opposition with a three-set win over Ripon College in a league match on Connie Tilley Court at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights needed just 51 minutes to top the Red Hawks 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

St. Norbert (22-7, 7-0 MWC) now needs just one win in its last two matches to clinch its 12th Midwest Conference title. The Green Knights lead the rest of the league by at least two in the loss column with two to play.

Danielle Remy and Alex Bresser led St. Norbert offensively, with both slamming home nine kills. Lindsay Wiebe, Breanne Brocker and Heidi Spies all had five kills each, as the Green Knights hit .222 (35-15-90). Abby West had 19 assists and Carley Valentine had 11 assists. Catherine Guido finished with 22 digs. Brocker, Remy and Spies all had three blocks each.

Ripon (5-22, 1-7) hit minus-.011, with 16 errors against 15 kills in 89 attempts. Megan Detlor had five kills, and Kristy Oglesby had 14 assists. Lisa Aguilar had 13 digs for the Red Hawks.
