ST. PETER, Minn. - Gustavus Adolphus College scored four power-play goals en route to an 8-1 win over St. Norbert College in a non-conference game at Don Roberts Rink.

The Gusties, ranked No. 7 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll and a NCAA Frozen Four qualifier last year, cashed in on four of eight power-play chances.

Gustavus (2-0) opened the first period on a goal by Courtney Boucher and a pair of markers by Carolyn Draayer. Scores by Kelly Thotland and Allie Schwab gave the Gusties a 5-0 lead until St. Norbert's Ali Parker scored a 5-on-3 power-play goal with 12 seconds left in the second period.

Grace Olson, Lindsey Hjelm and Kayla Ingbretson rounded out the scoring for the Gusties in the third period.

Gustavus Adolphus held a 40-17 shots-on-goal advantage. Kaley Gibson made 32 saves for the Green Knights, while Danielle Justice turned away 16 shots for the Gusties. St. Norbert was just 1-for-6 on the power play.
