Green Knights Place Sixth at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College finish in sixth place among 14 teams at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational.

The Green Knights registered 44.5 points to earn their sixth-place finish. UW-Eau Claire won the meet with 176.5 points. UW-Stevens Point was second with 121 points.

The St. Norbert 4x200-meter relay team of Louis Ayensu-Mensah, Brent Schreiber, Taylor Pasterski and Akeem Edmonds finished second with a time of 1:35.16, finishing behind St. Scholastica's 1:33.29.

Mike Verfuerth finished in third place in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet 9.75 inches. Andrew Jacobson was third in the triple jump at 39-6 1/2, while Anthony Parker was sixth in the event at 37-5 3/4.

Hayden Hoffmann finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:08.97. Tyler Seidl placed sixth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.36 seconds. Bryon Betts was tied for sixth in the weight throw with a heave of 45-4 1/4.
