St. Norbert Places Tenth at Central Dutch Classic

OSKALOOSA, Iowa - The St. Norbert College men's golf team opened up its spring portion of the 2007-08 season with a tenth-place showing at the Central College Dutch Classic at Edmunsdon Golf Club.

Central won its own meet, shooting an even par 560. The Green Knights shot a 633 to finish in tenth place, 73 strokes off the pace set by the Dutch. There were 16 teams at the event.

Seth Oberschlake finished in a tie for 15th, shooting a two-day total of 149. Oberschlake shot a 76 on the first day before finishing with a team-best 73 on the second day.

Gabe Dahl finished tied for 29th, shooting a 155. Dahl carded an 81 on the first day before firing a 74 on the second day of play.

Brian Kuehl finished in a tie for 51st (80-81-161), followed by Steve Schroeder (88-82-170) and Brandon Panish (86-90-176).
