Green Knights Compete at Grand Valley State Big Meet

St. Norbert had five different runners finish under a 20-minute time in the same 5,000-meter run for the first time. Mackenzie Weber finished with a time of 17:35.22, Emily Erickson ran 18:42.95, Kelsey Timm had a time of 19:15.31, Sara Hasenjager finished in 19:20.02 and Elvia Martinez had a time of 19:31.35. Weber's time is among the top 12 nationally this season in Division III.
In the 800-meter run, two broke the sub-2:20 barrier. Erin McShea finished with a time of 2:18.84, while Hannah Andrekus finished with a time of 2:19.94.
Courtney Slak and Kalee Luedtke both broke the 10-meter barrier for the first time this season and both are in the top eight distances in the Midwest Conference. Slak had a distance of 33 feet 4 inches (10.16 meters), while Luedtke had a distance of 33-2.5 (10.12).
In the 3,000-meter run, Emily Erickson broke the 11-minute mark with a time of 10:56.88 to set a personal best by nearly 15 seconds. Martinez (11:14.96) and Liz Hietpas (11:33.56) also had personal bests for the season by over 30 seconds.
Kari Braatz (8.21 seconds) and Mara Aparnieks (8.31) seconds both set season-best times in the 60-meter dash.
