St. Norbert Places Fifth at UW-Stevens Point Invitational

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College placed out of 13 teams at the UW-Stevens Point Eastbay/Pointer Invitational.
The Green Knights registered 50.5 points to finish in fifth place. UW-Oshkosh won the meet with 162.5 points, while UW-Stevens Point was second with 116 points.
St. Norbert copped the distance medley relay title behind the effort of the quartet of Erin McShea, Jaclyn Kerner, Megan Domnick and Hannah Andrekus. The four ran a time of 12 minutes 47.23 seconds to win the event by over a half-minute.
The 4x200-meter relay team of Kari Braatz, Katherine Larson, Mara Aparnieks and Kerner finished in third place with a time of 1:48.84.
Kalee Luedtke took third place in the long jump with a distance of 16 feet 8 inches, while Courtney Slak was tied for fifth with a leap of 16-2 1/2. Slak finished fourth in the triple jump in 33-7 1/2, while Luedtke was fifth with a distance of 33-4 1/2. Larson place eighth in the long jump with a distance of 32-7 3/4.
Sara Hasenjager finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 20:07.38.
