MINNEAPOLIS - St. Norbert College senior goaltender Kyle Jones has been named NCAA Division III Player of the Year by U.S. College Hockey Online, and coach Tim Coghlin has been named USCHO Division III Coach of the Year.

Jones, named Division III Player of the Year by the American Hockey Coaches Association in March, finished the season with one of the best years ever by a Division III goaltender. Jones was 21-1-3 overall, with NCAA Division III season record of a .950 save percentage, 1.09 goals against average and 10 shutouts. Jones was also a first-team All-America selection by USCHO as well as AHCA.

Coghlin, named Division III Coach of the Year by the AHCA earlier this week, led the Green Knights to a 27-1-4 record, the fewest losses ever by a Division III national champion. St. Norbert ended the year on a 29-game unbeaten streak, and also won the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season and Peters Cup championships.

Senior forward Marc Belanger also was named a first-team All-America by USCHO. In 32 games, Belanger scored 23 goals with 23 assists for 45 points with 10 power-play markers. Belanger scored the second goal in St. Norbert
