St. Norbert Cruises to First Place at Sherman-Lukoski Invite

RIPON - St. Norbert College cruised to the team championship of the Ripon College Sherman-Lukoski Invitational at Ingalls Field.

The Green Knights finished with 228 points to outpace Ripon's 191 points. The Milwaukee School of Engineering was third with 109 points.

The St. Norbert 4x100-meter relay of Mara Aparnieks, Kari Braatz, Calli Nonnemacher and Katherine Larson won the event with a time of 51.22 seconds.

Kelsey Timm claimed the title of the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11 minutes 54.47 seconds. Emily Schudrowitz won the 400-meter dash in 57.39 seconds, the only sub-1 minute time in the field. Courtney Slak won the triple jump with a distance of 34 feet 4 1/4 inches.

Braatz was second in the 100-meter dash in 13.09 seconds. Andrea Bosman was second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:10.75 and also placed second in the high jump at 4-10 1/4. Lisa Jordahl was second in the shot put with a distance of 88 feet 11 inches, and Kalee Luedtke was second in the in the long jump with a distance of 16-1 3/4. Jenne Widemeier was second in the pole vault with a height of 9 feet and 1/4 inch.
