Green Knights Fall Twice at Augustana Tournament

MOLINE, Ill. - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of games at the Augustana College Tournament losing to UW-River Falls 6-5 and Gustavus Adolphus College 6-1.

The Green Knights (4-10) fell behind 6-0 against the Falcons before rallying with four runs in the fourth and one in the fifth. Brittany Narges, Ashtin Schmechel and MacKenzie Hazen all had RBI singles during the fourth inning, while Narges scored on a fielding error in the fifth.

Narges was 2-for-4 for the Green Knights, who had five hits in the game. Morgan Rusch took the loss, allowing seven hits - with four coming in River Falls' six-run third inning.

Gustavus Adolphus scored twice in the first and four times in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead. The Green Knights scored their lone run on a Steph Brunette RBI single in the sixth inning. Shannen Schmidt took the loss for St. Norbert.
