Green Knights Open Spring Season With Three Dual Losses

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College wrapped up its first weekend of the spring season with three dual match losses. The Green Knights lost at home to Michigan Tech 6-3 and St. Mary's 7-2 before falling to Carthage College 7-2 on the road.

The Green Knights won two doubles points against Carthage. Nancy Chybowski and Laura Michel topped Hollis and Haleigh McPeek 8-4 at No. 1. Callie Schroeder and Maggie Berens followed with an 8-3 win over Bari Reynolds and Kristina Naidicz at No. 2.

St. Norbert also got two doubles points in its loss to St. Mary's. Schroeder and Berens beat Killian Edwards and Abby Voigt 8-5 at No. 2, while Ariel Bloniarz and Emily Rasmussen topped Grace Zachman and Lexi Felten 8-4 at No. 3.

The Green Knights got a pair of default wins against Division II Michigan Tech. Chybowski and Michel beat the Huskies' Natalia Lebedeva and Kira Eck 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.
