St. Norbert Finishes Second at SNC Invitational

DE PERE - St. Norbert College narrowly missed out on winning the team championship of its own meet with a second-place finish at the St. Norbert Invitational at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights finished with 181 points, two points shy of College of St. Scholastica's 183 points. St. Norbert finished well ahead of third-place Ripon College, which had 94 points.

Emily Schudrowitz won the 400-meter dash handily, posting a time of 57.33 seconds to finish almost 2.4 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Schudrowitz also placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.54 seconds.

Elvia Martinez claimed first place in the 5,000-meter run in 18:37.02, while Kelsey Timm won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:27.90. Erin McShea won the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes 20.93 seconds, while Hannah Andrekus was second in 2:22.02. Kalee Luedtke was second in the long jump at 16 feet 8 3/4 inches. Erika Quinn placed second in the 10,000-meter run at 44:10.72.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Andrekus, Megan Domnick, Schudrowitz and Erin McShea won the event with a time of 4:01.62.

Andrea Bosman was third in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.40 seconds, and also placed third in the high jump at 4-11 3/4. Kari Braatz was third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.24 seconds. Katherine Larson was third in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.06 and in the long jump at 16-8..
