Green Knights Win Third-Straight Tom Barry Invite Title

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College claimed its third consecutive team championship at the Tom Barry Invitational with a balanced showing at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights totaled 58 points to top second-place St. Norbert Alumni by nine points. The College of St. Scholastica was third with 79 points, while Ripon College was fourth with 113 points. St. Scholastica's Chelsea Johnson won the 5,000-meter event with a time of 18 minutes 39 seconds.

Elvia Martinez was St. Norbert's top finisher, placing fifth with a time of 19:41. Hannah Andrekus was sixth in 19:52, while Charlotte Walsh was eighth in 20:05.

Amanda Whipple placed 17th with a time of 20:44, and Erika Quinn finished 22nd in 20:52.

Lauren James was 24th in 20:55, and Erin McShea was 29th in 21:18 to close out the Green Knights' top seven.
