St. Norbert Drops First Two Matches at Carthage Tournament

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College lost its first two matches at the Carthage College Tournament. The Green Knights fell to No. 13-ranked University of Chicago and Illinois Wesleyan University, both in four sets, at Tarble Arena.

St. Norbert (8-4) lost to Chicago 25-15, 25-19, 15-25, 25-17 and then lost to Illinois Wesleyan 10-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-11.

Breanna Brocker had 12 kills and 19 digs to lead the way against Chicago. Danielle Remy added nine kills, while Heidi Spies had 21 digs. Abby West finished with 29 assists.

Against Illinois Wesleyan, Brocker had 12 kills and 14 digs, with Spies adding eight kills and 17 digs. Remy totaled nine kills and five blocks, and West finished with 22 assists.
