BELOIT - St. Norbert College picked up a big Midwest Conference road win with a 1-0 triumph over Beloit College at the Strong Stadium Complex.

The Green Knights (4-3-2, 1-1-1 MWC) got the game-winning goal with just 1 minute 25 seconds left in regulation time when Levi Budz finished a pass from Thomas Gritton. The marker was the first of Budz's collegiate career.

St. Norbert's defense was up to the task all afternoon, not allowing Beloit (6-3, 2-2) to put a shot on goal even though the Buccaneers outshot the Green Knights overall 8-5. Beloit also had an 11-3 edge in corner kicks.

St. Norbert will host nationally ranked UW-Platteville at 2 p.m. Sunday at Schneider Stadium in De Pere.
