Green Knights Can't Hold On at Lawrence

APPLETON - Despite scoring the game's first goal, St. Norbert College couldn't hold on to the lead and fell 2-1 to Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference match at Whiting Field West.
The Green Knights (4-5-2, 1-2-1 MWC) took the early lead when Tom Daly scored his first goal of the season with an unassisted marker at the 13 minutes 52 seconds mark.
Lawrence (5-5-1, 2-2-1) responded with a goal at 32:08 from Dan O'Mahoney. The Vikings got the game-winner at 47:44 from Darry Israel.
The Vikings held a 13-6 lead in shots on goal and a slim 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Lawrence also had an 18-11 bulge in fouls.
Noah Davis made three saves for the Green Knights in 51:12 of work, while Scott Faul made one save in relief. Kevin Aslett made two stops to get the win for the Vikings.
