St. Norbert Places 11th at Pre-Nationals Meet

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - St. Norbert College finished in 11th place among 30 teams competing at the Pre-Nationals Meet hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course.

The Green Knights totaled 341 points. Johns Hopkins University won the meet with 52 points, while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College was second with 77 points. Johns Hopkins' Hannah Oneda won the 6-kilometer race with at time of 21 minutes 37 seconds. A total of 326 runners competed.

Charlotte Walsh finished 31st overall to lead St. Norbert, finishing with a time of 23:11. Hannah Andrekus was 61st with a time of 23:44, while Elvia Martinez placed 89th overall in 24:03.

Amanda Whipple was 95th in 24:05, while Erin McShae was three seconds back in 98th place. Erika Quinn was 175th in 25:36, and Lauren Janes was 181st in 25:40.
