St. Norbert Sweeps Illinois College

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had little trouble remaining unbeaten in the Midwest Conference with a 3-0 win over Illinois College at Sherman Gym.

The Green Knights (25-7, 2-0 MWC) dispatched the Lady Blues (7-10, 2-2) by scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

The Green Knights hit .286 in the match, posting 45 kills in 105 attempts against 15 errors. St. Norbert also totaled 10 service aces.

Danielle Remy finished with 12 kills in 22 attempts against four errors. Heidi Spies added 11 kills in 22 attempts against five errors. Mary Kate Manion had eight kills with one error in 16 attempts, and also collected 14 digs. Abby West had 35 assists running the offense.

Catherine Guido had a team-high 16 digs and three service aces. Manion, Spies and Breanne Brocker also had two service aces apiece.
