St. Norbert Falls to Carroll

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College dropped a 6-3 decision to Carroll University in a Midwest Conference North Division match at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.

The Green Knights (5-8, 2-1 MWC North) will have to beat Lawrence University at Noon Sunday in Appleton to advance to the MWC Team Tournament Friday in Rockford, Ill.

St. Norbert started off in good shape with two doubles wins. Nancy Chybowski and Maria Slusarek topped Abigail Pellet and Alyssa Larson 8-2 at No. 1. Laura Michel and Emily Rasmussen defeated Kate Rasmussen and Megan Rosenberg 8-3 at No. 2.

The Pioneers rallied with five wins in the six singles matches. Brittany Dudzik won at No. 6 singles over Sarah Wick 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
