Graybill Sets School Record in 400 at Wheaton

St. Norbert was sixth in the team standings with 49 points. Calvin won the meet with 208.5 points.
Graybill won the 400 with a sprint of 56.72 seconds, breaking her own record set last year. Her time is also a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship in May. Graybill added a fourth-place showing in the 200 dash with a time of 26.07 seconds.
Graybill was also on the St. Norbert 4x100-meter relay team that finished third in 50.80 seconds along with Anne Mueller, Marisa Trakanovich and Nicole Swanson. The 4x400-meter relay finished fourth with a time of 4:02.34. Trakanovich, Meyer, Graybill and Katie Meyer were on that relay.
Trakanovich was third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.50, and added a seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a run of 16.15 seconds.
In the 5,000-meter run, Jenny Scherer was fourth with a time of 18:18.18, while Jenna Kick also scored with an eighth-place time of 18:53.48.
Sommers placed in two individual field events, taking fifth in the javelin throw with a heave of 32.12 meters and seventh in the long jump with a leap of 5.06 meters.
Mueller was sixth in the 100-meter dash with a sprint of 13.07 seconds.
