GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College did its part, now the Green Knights will need some help to clinch a berth in the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Tournament.

The Green Knights topped Knox College 2-1 at Jorge Prats Field to put themselves in position to potentially earn a spot into the four-team post-season field. St. Norbert (8-7-3, 5-3-2 MWC) needs Grinnell College to either tie or lose to Ripon College on Sunday to get a berth.

Following a scoreless first half, Knox (6-9-2, 2-6-2) took a 1-0 lead on a Donald Tchopya goal at the 62:30 mark. The Green Knights promptly answered with the equalizer when Nathan Angell scored unassisted at 67:31. St. Norbert pushed ahead at 73:17 when Hunter Yewman scored off an assist from Andrew Hull at 73:17, and the Green Knights hung on for their eighth one-goal win of the season.

St. Norbert outshot Knox 14-8. Noah Davis made two saves in net for St. Norbert, while Sean McGovern made six stops for the Prairie Fire.
