Green Knights Place 10th at NCAA Division III Midwest Regional

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College finish in the top ten at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional for the second time in three years with a 10th-place finish in the meet held at Lake Breeze Golf Course.

The Green Knights totaled 353 points to match their 10th-place showing from two years ago. UW-Eau Claire won the meet with 67 points, while the University of Chicago was second with 99 points. UW-Oshkosh's Christy Cazzola was the meet champion with a time of 20 minutes 52 seconds. A total of 276 runners competed in the 6,000-meter race.

Amanda Whipple picked up all-region honors with a 28th-place finish in 22:38. Elvia Martinez was 47th with a time of 23:06.

Erin McShea placed 76th overall with a time of 23:28, while Hannah Andrekus was 88th in 23:40. Charlotte Walsh added a 117th-place finish in 24:17.

Lauren Janes and Erika Quinn completed St. Norbert's top seven finishing 135th in 24:38 and 176th in 25:24, respectively.
