St. Norbert Finishes 20th at NCAA Midwest Regional

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College placed 20th out of 39 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional held at Lake Breeze Golf Course.

The Green Knights totaled 618 points to finish in a tie for 20th with Aurora University. North Central College easily won the meet with 58 points, while UW-La Crosse was second with 114 points. UW-Stout's Tim Nelson won the 8,000-meter race with a time of 24 minutes 25 seconds. A total of 271 runners competed.

Brady Bemis led St. Norbert by placing 100th overall with a time of 26:42. Michael Heise finished seven seconds back in 109th place.

Benny Swift was 133rd with a time of 27:12, and Nathan Heppe was 137th in 27:21. Hayden Hoffmann placed 149th overall in 27:33, and Logan Jadin was 170th in 27:57.
