Vanden Avond Leads St. Norbert All-MWC Selections

DE PERE - Three St. Norbert College players have been named to the 2012 women's soccer All-Midwest Conference team.

Sophomore Katie Vanden Avond and junior Zoe Kurth were first-team selections, while senior Jaci Kulow was a second-team honoree.

Vanden Avond was named MWC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. Vanden Avond led the MWC in points (54) and goals (26), and also had a circuit-high eight game-winning goals.

Kurth finished with four goals and three assists for 11 points, and the honor marked the second-straight year she was selected first-team All-MWC.

Kulow finished with one goal and six assists for eight points. Kulow was a second-team All-MWC choice in 2010 and was an honorable mention selection in 2011.
