St. Norbert Ties With Marian

FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College settled for a 1-1 tie with Marian University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Blue Line Ice Center.

St. Norbert (2-1-2, 1-1-1 NCHA) took the early lead when Tarraneh Dadgar scored her first goal of the year at the 13:30 mark of the first period. Emily Chandler assisted.

That goal would hold up until Marian (3-2-1, 2-0-1) got the equalizer at the 6:12 mark of the third period. Erin Dunphy scored her first goal of the year, with Kaitlyn Johnson assisting.

The Green Knights outshot Marian 45-25 but Sabres' goaltender Amanda Alexander turned in a 44-save effort. Kaley Gibson made 24 stops for the Green Knights.

St. Norbert was 0-for-3 on the power play, while Marian was 0-for-2.
