Green Knights Compete at UW-Stevens Point Multi Meet

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College continued its season by competing at the UW-Stevens Point Multi Meet. The meet was unscored.

The Green Knights claimed first place in a pair of relay events. St. Norbert won the 4x200-meter relay, with the foursome of Jack Feuerstein, Stephen Sheperd, Tyler Seidl and Louis Ayensu-Mensah running a time of 1:36.52. The distance medley relay of Justin Fote, David Yanda, Eric Ruzicka and Heath Hougas also won with a time of 11:23.39.

Seidl finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.32 seconds, while Ayensu-Mensah was third in 7.45 seconds. Feuerstein was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.19 seconds, and placed seventh in the 200-meter dash in 23.95 seconds.

Andrew Jacobson was second in the long jump with a distance of 20 feet 1 3/4 inches. Anthony Parker was fourth in the triple jump at 40-4 1/4, while Mike Verfuerth was eighth at 38-5. Joe McArdle placed seventh in the shot put with a heave of 42-2 1/4. Kenny Oxendorf was eighth in the weight throw at 42-9 3/4.

Logan Jadin was fifth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:58.61. Benny Swift was sixth in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:25.00, and Nathan Heppe was eighth with a time of 4:26.78. Michael Heise was seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:04.73.
