St. Norbert Tumbles at Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College shot just 27.9 percent from the floor and suffered a 62-57 loss to Illinois College in a Midwest Conference game at Bruner Center.

The Green Knights (15-8, 12-6) trailed 29-24 at halftime and later saw themselves down 18 points at 53-35 with 8 minutes 31 seconds remaining. St. Norbert mounted a last-ditch rally to trail 60-57 inside 1 minute remaining and had possession, but turned it over to snuff its chances.

St. Norbert was led in scoring Megan Doody and Krista Hawkinson, who had 11 points apiece. Morgan Heim added 10 points. Amy Wieting had nine points and 14 rebounds.

Illinois College (7-16, 5-13) got 15 points from Tiffany King.
