Gibson Leads St. Norbert on All-NCHA Team

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior goaltender Kaley Gibson was the lone first-team selection on the All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association team announced today by the league office.

Gibson earned one of the two first-team slots at goaltender. Gibson fashioned a 13-8-2 overall record with a 2.05 goals against average and .929 save percentage to help the Green Knights to a program-best fifth-place finish in the NCHA. It marked the second first-team All-NCHA selection for Gibson, who also made the squad during her freshman season in 2011.

Junior forwards Henriette Ostergaard and Karissa Anderson both earned honorable mention All-NCHA accolades. Ostergaard was named honorable mention All-NCHA for the second consecutive year after scoring 12 goals with 13 assists for 25 points in 21 games. Anderson scored 11 goals with 14 assists for 25 points in 25 games.

Adrian College senior goaltender Brittany Zeches was named NCHA Player of the Year, whole Lake Forest's Carisa Zaban was named NCHA Coach of the Year.
