Giese Named Second Team All-Midwest Conference

DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore forward Tasha Giese was the Green Knights' lone selection on the All-Midwest Conference team announced today by the league office.

Giese was a second-team All-MWC choice after helping the Green Knights to a 15-9 record this season. Giese averaged 9.2 points per game and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor. She also had a team-high 31 blocked shots.

Cornell College senior center Camille Marie was named MWC Player of the Year, while Cornell's Brant Brase was named MWC Coach of the Year.
