St. Norbert Wins Second Straight

GLENDALE - St. Norbert College won its second straight dual match with a 5-4 non-conference win over Knox College at the Elite Sports Club-North Shore.

The Green Knights picked up one doubles point, with Travis Buechel and Nate Gosz getting an 8-2 win at No. 3 over Dustin Loch and Mike Carr.

St. Norbert rallied by picking up four of the six singles matches. Tim Hartwick defeated Karl Ruzgas at No. 1 by a 6-3, 6-3 score. Matt Lobeck topped Walter Palmer 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4 at No. 2. Buechel defeated Loch 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5, and Gosz blanked Pragyaditya Mukerjee 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.

The Green Knights are idle until hosting Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 23.
