Green Knights Win For Second Straight Week

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College won the team championship for its meet for the second consecutive week with the title of the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational at Raabe Stadium.

The Green Knights, who won the Carroll Invitational last Saturday, finished first among 11 teams with 137.5 points. St. Norbert edged Milwaukee School of Engineering, which had 134.5 points. Carroll University was third with 116 points.

Randy Hill won the long jump and triple jump. He finished with a distance of 21 feet 6 inches in the long jump, and followed with a distance of 43-7 3/4 in the triple jump.

The men's distance medley of Justin Fote, Jake Schneider, Daniel Reigh and Benny Swift won wiht a time of 10:50.15. The 4x100-meter relay of Louis Ayensu-Mensah, Taylor Pasterski, Tyler Seidl and Brad Boockmeier won with a time of 43.59 seconds. Pasterski, Jack Feuerstein, Mike Linzmeier and Fote won the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:29.17.

Andrew Jacobson was second in the long jump at 21-1 1/2. Pasterski was second in the 200-meter dash in 22.39 seconds.

Bob Krueger finished third in the javelin throw with a distance of 128-5. Hayden Hoffmann was third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:15.00. Nathan Heppe finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.61. Feuerstein placed third in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 58.34 seconds.
