St. Norbert Wins Own Invitational

DE PERE - St. Norbert College won the championship of its own meet as the Green Knights took the title of the St. Norbert College Invitational for the second year in a row at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights registered 153 points to outdistance runner-up College of St. Scholastica, which had 128 points. Milwaukee School of Engineering was close behind in third place with 126 points.

Randy Hill won the long jump with a distance of 22 feet 6 1/2 inches. He also added the title in the triple jump with a distance of 44-1 7/8. Hill placed second in the high jump by clearing a height of 6-2 3/4.

Taylor Pasterski won the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.13 seconds, followed by Stephen Shepard in third place at 51.03 seconds.

Nathan Heppe was second in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.92. Brad Boockmeier finished in second place in the shot put with a heave of 45-3 1/4.

Jack Feuerstein took third in both the 110- and 400-meter hurdles with times of 16.78 and 57.94 seconds, respectively. Hayden Hoffmann was third in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:57.16. Evan Broyles finished third in the discus with a toss of 136-4 1/4.
