Three Named All-Midwest Conference

DE PERE - Three St. Norbert College softball players have been named All-Midwest Conference on the league's honor squad released by the conference office.

Senior shortstop Steph Brunette, senior outfielder Morgan Buboltz and sophomore outfielder Jessica DeMeuse were among the 12 players selected to the All-MWC North Division team.

Brunette, a De Pere native, was named MWC North Division Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. Brunette finished the year hitting .443 with 38 runs scored, three home runs and 26 runs batted in.

Buboltz, a Brillion native, was named first-team All-MWC for the third consecutive year. In 2013 Buboltz hit .303 with team-highs in home runs (6) and runs batted in (28).

DeMeuse, a Sturgeon Bay native, hit .282 this season with three home runs and 24 runs batted in.

St. Norbert coach JoAnn Krueger shared MWC North Division Coach of the Year honors with Lawrence University's Kim Tatro.

The Green Knights finished this season 20-15 and finished in third place at the Midwest Conference Tournament.
