DE PERE - Chase Emnott has been named St. Norbert College's first full-time strength and performance coach. Emnott previously served as the Green Knights' strength and performance coordinator through an off-campus provider for the last five years. Emnott started as the St. Norbert hockey team's strength and conditioning coach for the 2007-08 season, when the Green Knights went 27-1-4 and claimed the NCAA Division III championship.

Emnott, a Neenah, Wis., native, was the strength and conditioning coordinator at Michigan Tech from 2003 until the spring of 2007. He was also a defensive line coach for the Huskies' football team from 2002-2004, and was on the staff when Michigan Tech won its first GLIAC football championship in 2004.

A four-year letterwinner on the gridiron for Michigan Tech, Emnott earned all-conference honors in the GLIAC following the 2001 season.
