AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College dropped its season opener with a 5-1 setback to Aurora University at the Chelsea Lloyd Memorial Classic at Vago Field. The match was stopped in the 71st minute due to lightning, making it an official match by NCAA standards.

The Green Knights drew first blood, scoring just 2 minutes 43 seconds into the match on an unassisted goal by Kaitlin Schmitz. But the Spartans would answer with five unanswered goals, including two each by Nicole Wolfe and Mariah Ziegenbein.
