Green Knights Capture Wisconsin Private Schools Championship

MEQUON - St. Norbert College claimed the championship of the Wisconsin Private Schools Cross Country Championship with a strong showing at Concordia University Wisconsin.

The Green Knights totaled 53 points. The Milwaukee School of Engineering was close behind with 58 points to finish second. Wisconsin Lutheran College's Chase Robles was the individual champion with a time of 26:46.6 to cover the 8K course.

Benny Swift finished in third place with a time of 26:50.7, while Nathan Heppe was right behind in fourth place at 26:57.3.

Michael Linzmeier was 13th in 27:20.8, followed by Michael Heise's 15th-place time of 27:33.2. Jaquan Grier placed 18th with a time of 28:00.8.

Daniel Reigh ended in 19th place at 28:04.4, followed by Brady Bemis in 20th at 28:07.1.
