Green Knights Remain Unbeaten Against Lawrence

APPLETON - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten all-time on the volleyball court against Lawrence University with a three-set Midwest Conference win at Alexander Gym. The Green Knights topped the Vikings 25-23, 25-21, 25-21.

The Green Knights (11-14, 5-2 MWC), who have won their last four matches, improved to 54-0 all-time against Lawrence (9-15, 4-4) in a series dating back to 1978.

St. Norbert received another balanced offensive effort. Anika Johnson had 12 kills with no errors in 16 attempts, while Heidi Spies connected on 10 kills. Breanne Brocker finished with eight kills for the Green Knights, who hit .289 (44-11-114) in the match.

Abby West directed the offense with 22 assists, while Kaitlin Delahaut added 13 helpers along with two service aces. Aubree Antosch led the back row with 19 digs, and Brocker added 18 digs.

Kayla Storm led Lawrence with 11 kills, while Terese Swords added 10. The Vikings hit .164 in the match, with 42 kills against 20 errors in 134 attempts. Diane McLeod had 34 assists and Kathleen Rowland had 16 digs.
