Pair Named to All-Midwest Conference Teams

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had two men's soccer players earn All-Midwest Conference mention on the league's all-conference teams.

Senior forward Kirill Vasilenko was named to the first team, while senior defender Nate Felhofer earned second-team honors.

Vasilenko led the Green Knights in scoring with seven goals and four assists for 18 points. He netted one game-winning goal and was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks this season.

Felhofer finished with four goals and two assists for 10 points to finish fifth on the squad in scoring. He collected one game-winning goal and converted his lone penalty-kick attempt of the season.

St. Norbert finished 9-8-3 and placed third in the Midwest Conference with an 8-2 record. The Green Knights advanced to the championship game of the Midwest Conference tournament before falling to conference champion Lake Forest College.

Lake Forest's Mahir Mameledzija was named MWC Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year. Carroll University's Mark Gore was picked as MWC Defensive Player of the Year, while Lake Forest's Chris Bergmann was selected MWC Coach of the Year.
