Third Period Dooms St. Norbert in Loss at Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - St. Norbert College allowed four third-period goals and dropped a 6-3 decision to Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Green Knights (3-3-1, 1-3-1 NCHA) and Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1) skated to a scoreless first period, but St. Norbert took a 3-2 lead after the second period.

Henriette Ostergaard scored twice in the period, and Katie Conlon's goal late in the second period put the Green Knights ahead going into the final 20 minutes.

Adrian scored twice in the first three minutes to take a 4-3 lead, and the Bulldogs put the game away with two more goals down the stretch.

Adrian outshot St. Norbert 37-25. The Bulldogs were 1-for-7 on the power play, while the Green Knights were 0-for-7. Jade Walsh made 22 saves for Adrian, while Kaley Gibson made 31 stops for St. Norbert.
