ADRIAN, Mich. - St. Norbert College scored two third-period goals to rally and post a much-needed 2-1 win over Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Green Knights (4-3-1, 2-3-1 NCHA) trailed the Bulldogs (6-2, 4-2) 1-0 after two periods despite having six power-play opportunities. St. Norbert goaltender Katie Aluia kept the Green Knights within striking distance by stopping 16 of 17 shots in the first 40 minutes.

Ali Parker put St. Norbert on the board with a goal at 11:46 of the third period, with Zoe Kurth and Ashley Wilson assisting. It took just 19 seconds for the Green Knights to grab the lead, as Emily Chandler scored with Danielle Rozon and Jillian Kosteck assisting at 12:05.

With 3:30 left, the Green Knights had to kill off an interference penalty. Seven seconds after that penalty expired, the Green Knights were shorthanded again on a checking call. Adrian then had a 6-on-4 advantage for the last 40 seconds when it pulled goaltender Jade Walsh, but couldn't get the equalizer.

Abby Kibler scored Adrian's only goal at the 10:58 mark of the first period.

Adrian outshot St. Norbert 24-20. The Bulldogs were 0-for-8 on the power play, while the Green Knights were 0-for-6. Aluia made 23 saves for St. Norbert, while Walsh had 18 stops for Adrian.
