Green Knights Win Going Away at Grinnell

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College continued its hot start to the season with an 80-57 Midwest Conference win over Grinnell College at Darby Gym.

The Green Knights (5-1, 2-0 MWC) snapped an 8-8 tie by going on a 20-3 run midway through the first half. St. Norbert led 41-24 at halftime and led by as many as 32 points in the second half.

Lana Tomashek led St. Norbert with 17 points, while Heidi Van Sistine totaled 16 points and 11 rebounds in 15 minutes of action. Morgan Heim added 11 points and Brianna Byrne chipped in with 10 points off the bench.

The Green Knights shot 31-for-58 (53.4 percent) from the floor and outrebounded the Pioneers by a 54-31 margin.

Alissa Hirsh led Grinnell with 15 points.
