Egan Named First-Team All-West Region

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior defensive back Dan Egan was named first-team All-West Region on special teams by D3football.com

Egan, a Skokie, Ill., native and a graduate of Niles North High School, was a first-team All-Midwest Conference choice this season at that position. Egan finished the season with three blocked kicks, and also ended the year with two interceptions and 17 overall tackles.

St. Norbert led the Midwest Conference in kickoff coverage this season, averaging 43.2 net yards per kickoff. It was the best margin in the league by 3.4 yards.

St. Norbert finished the season 8-3 overall, and won its 15th Midwest Conference championship since 1985 with an 8-1 record.
