DE PERE - St. Norbert College used five third-period goals to break open a close game to forge a 7-0 win over Finlandia University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Cornerstone Community Center's Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights (9-5-2, 4-4-1 NCHA) led 2-0 after two periods before pulling away in the third. Megan Crandell got things going with her first collegiate goal at 1:07 of the period. Ali Parker then scored her second goal of the game and team-high ninth of the season at the 5:56 mark.

Three more Green Knights followed with their first collegiate goals to close out the scoring. Jillian Kosteck scored a power-play marker at 11:53, Kylie Gazzolo found the net at 12:30, and Allie Patrick finished the scoring at 17:56.

Parker opened the scoring with a nice backhand finish on a shorthanded opportunity at 8:10 of the first period. That goal held up until Andrea Senne redirected the puck in at 15:13 of the second period.

Parker finished with a four-point night, scoring two goals and two assists. Lauren Roethlisberger totaled three assists. Senne, who became the first St. Norbert skater to play in 100 career games, added an assist for a two-point game.

St. Norbert outshot the Lions (0-13, 0-9) by a 59-18 margin. Kaley Gibson made 18 saves for the St. Norbert shutout. Casey Schwartz turned away 52 shots for Finlandia. St. Norbert was 1-for-5 on the power play, while Finlandia was 0-for-5.
