KENOSHA - A late rally wasn't enough as the St. Norbert College men's soccer team fell to Clarke College 3-1 at the Carthage College "Battle on the Border" Tournament at Art Keller Field.

Clarke led 2-0 at halftime on a pair of goals by Abdulwali Aman. The Green Knights then cut the deficit in half on a marker by Adam Sanchez with seven minutes left, but Clarke's Dino Ramic iced the match with a score in the 86th minute.

The Green Knights held a 19-14 shots advantage, including a 12-5 margin in the first half, but couldn't find the net more than once. Sanchez had six shots, Donny Baloun five and Mike Burmesch four.

Noah Davis took the loss for the Green Knights, making five saves. Phillip Flores made 10 saves in working the first 80 minutes for Clarke, while Charlie Fast had two saves in the final 10 minutes of action.
