No. 5 St. Norbert Shoots for NCAA Berth This Weekend

DE PERE - St. Norbert College, making its Midwest Conference-best seventh consecutive conference tournament appearance, hosts Grinnell College, Ripon College and Carroll University this weekend in the MWC Tournament at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights, who have won four out of the last five MWC titles, are vying for their fourth NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in five years. The MWC Tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Friday's semifinal games feature Grinnell (18-5) against Ripon (15-8) at 1:30 p.m. Friday, while St. Norbert (22-1), ranked No. 5 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, faces Carroll (15-8) at 6 p.m. Friday. Saturday's championship game is slated for 3 p.m.
