Van Sistine Earns First-Team All-MWC Nod

DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore center Heidi Van Sistine has been named first-team All-Midwest Conference, the league office announced today.

Van Sistine, earning her first all-conference honor, leads the Green Knights in scoring and rebounding at 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Van Sistine enters this weekend's NCAA Tournament shooting a robust 73.8 percent from the flor, making 118 of 160 field-goal attempts.

St. Norbert coach Connie Tilley was named Midwest Conference Coach of the Year, the sixth time she has earned that honor.

Illinois College junior Hanna McGinnis was named MWC Player of the Year.

St. Norbert enters Friday's NCAA Division III Tournament game at Carthage College with a 21-4 overall record. The Green Knights, who have won nine consecutive games, won the Midwest Conference title with a 16-2 regular-season record.
