DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior guard Brandon Gries is one of two players selected via fan voting to the 2014 Reese's Division III All-Star Game, sponsored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Gries joins Augsburg College's Dan Kornbaum as the two fan voting selections.

The two were chosen among eight players on the ballot selected from fan voting at D3hoops.com. Kornbaum received 30 percent of the vote and Gries claimed 24 percent of the vote. More than 27,000 votes were cast. The two will join a roster of eight other players on each side, determined after sectional play in the NCAA Division III Tournament is completed this weekend.

Gries was named 2014 Midwest Conference Player of the Year and is the Green Knights' first three-time first-team All-MWC selection. Gries finished the season averaging 16.3 points per game to help the Green Knights to a 25-2 finish and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Gries' 1,257 career points places him 11th all-time on the St. Norbert career scoring list.

The game is set to be played 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday, March 22 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va., prior to the Division III national championship game. It will be streamed live with a link available at D3hoops.com.
