St. Norbert Claims Carroll Invitational Title

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College won four events as the Green Knights went on to capture the team title of the Carroll University Invitational.

The Green Knights totaled 188 points to top host Carroll, which had 161 points. Ripon College was in third place with 80 points.

Jaclyn Kerner won the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.68 seconds, while Clarissa Jauregui was third with a time of 1:03.57. Kerner also placed third in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 26.49 seconds.

Brittany Kozlowski was first in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:52.39. Nicole Vanderlin won the high jump with a height of 5 feet 6 inches, and Karissa Kaiser took third with a height of 5-5.

Kerner, Mara Aparnieks, Erin Lang and Jolene Kerner won the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 50.55 seconds. Jaclyn Kerner, Kozlowski, Jauregui and Jolene Kerner were second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:12.66.

Mallory Nickerson was second in the discus and set a St. Norbert outdoor record in the process with a distance of 127-11. Charlotte Walsh was second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 38:45.03, while Alyssa Price was third in 40:06.84.

Taylor Wenzel was third in the 100-meter hurdles is 16.87 seconds, while Taylor Miller was third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:15.32. Kalee Luedtke was third in the long jump at 16-1/2. Markiesa Westphal was third in the shot put at 38 feet.
