St. Norbert Posts Two More Wins

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College continued to add to its record-setting season with two dual meet wins over Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes. The Green Knights topped UW-Stevens Point 6-3 and UW-Stout 9-0 at Western Racquet and Fitness.

The Green Knights, now a robust 23-4 on the season, opened the day with their win over the Pointers (9-7). St. Norbert took two of the three doubles points when Nancy Chybowski and Elizabeth Manlick defeated Katelyn Asfeld and Hayley Schluter 8-1 at No. 1. Ashley Randazzo and Katherine Ake topped Molly Hendries and Kristen Finstad 8-5 at No. 2.

Ake defeated Schlueter 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, followed by Ariel Bloniarz's 6-0, 6-4 win over Hendries at No. 4. Anna Gosz bested Rosie Buckley 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5, while Brittany Dudzik beat Kayla Fuller 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.

Against Stout, Randazzo and Manlick defeated Angela Braun and Kelsey Pedersen 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Chybowski and Maggie Berens beat Cortney Hallahan and Anna Lano 8-1 at No. 2, while Ake and Emily Rasmussen topped Emma Pedersen and Bailee Priewe 8-0.

Chybowski beat Braun 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, and Manlick followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Pedersen at No. 2. Ake defeated Hallahan 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3, while Bloniarz blanked Danielle Lutz 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Gosz beat Pedersen 6-3, 6-2 at no. 5, followed by Dudzik's 6-2, 6-0 win over Madeline O'Neil at No. 6.
