Graybill Wins Two Events in Season Opener

ADA, Ohio - Ashley Graybill won two events to lead St. Norbert College's women's track team during the Green Knights' season opener at the first meet of the Ohio Northern Friday Night Series.

St. Norbert finished third in the three-school event with 40 points. Host Ohio Northern won the meet with 248 points, while Division II Findlay placed second with 172 points.

Graybill won the 300-meter dash and the 500-meter run. Graybill ran the 300 with a time of 43.05 seconds, and ran the 500 in 1:19.44.

Melissa Fabry, the only other St. Norbert women's thinclad to compete in the meet, won the long jump with a leap of 16 feet 7 inches. Fabry also placed third in the 200-meter dash with a sprint of 29.38 seconds.
