Green Knights Runner-Up at Wisconsin Private Colleges Championship

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College recorded a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Private Colleges Championship hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College at Raabe Stadium.

The Green Knights finished with 165.5 points to finish behind Carthage College, which finished with 190.33 points. Ripon College was in third with 135.33 points.

Alyssa Price won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:10.97, while Charlotte Walsh was second in 19:20.63. Erin Artz was second overall and first among attached runners in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 43.28.16, while Paulina Puskala was one spot behind at 44:23.68.

The 4x100-meter relay of Taylor Wenzel, Angel Hon, Amanda Yenter and Kaitlyn Hintz was second in 52.94 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay of Brianna Alexander, Hintz, Haley Joosten and Amber Becker was second in 4:24.16.

Wenzel was second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.54 seconds. Steph Hietpas was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:03.71.

Hannah Andrekus was third in the 1,500-meter run in 5:20.79, while Hon was third in the 200-meter dash in 27.48 seconds.

Grace Mickelson placed third in the pole vault, clearing a height of 9 feet 5 3/4 inches. Kalee Luedtke was third in the long jump at 16-4 1/2, while Megan Crandell was third in the javelin throw at 97-0.
